Piadina’s are a traditional and really popular Italian street food originating from the Emilia Romagna region. They are round flat breads, 12 inches in diameter, made using wheat flour and lard. In Italy they are often sold in small kiosk’s called Piadineries. Our piadina’s are made in Riccione, on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, by one of the finest producers in Italy. Heat the piadina on a hot flat-plate or dry non-stick pan, then fill it with what ever wonderful Italian ingredients you like – traditionally you would use Italian cheese, ham, grilled vegetables, rocket….be creative, it will be amazing.
